Any idea on breed?

So, these two came from our neighbour's chickens (we incubated the eggs) and the cockerels they have are a light sussex and a barred plymouth rock. No idea what hens they were from as they have a whole load of different breeds.

I know one of them is clearly mixed, but I was wondering whether they have names?

Probably mixes. Unless the neighbor had hens of the roosters breed.

First looks like a Light Sussex cross.
Second is a Plymouth Rock cross.
Those are the cockerels, so they obviously have those breeds in them.

Do you have a photo of their cockerels?

Barred Sussex Mix, maybe? Idk, that's probably not the right name for them.

The first one is probably a Sussex mix because if it was from the barred rock rooster it would have barring.

The second probably came from the barred rock rooster. And probably from a pink legged hen.

We don't, but the people we got the eggs from to incubate have all of these...

I should say, at the time we got the eggs from them, they only had a light sussex rooster, and a barred plymouth rooster. I think they got another rooster since then but honestly, they have so many I lose track lol

I've been corrected - a speckled sussex rooster, not a light sussex.

Looks like they have Marans not BPR's so I say the second is a pure Marans.
