Any idea what breed Friday is?

This is my beautiful boy Friday Wednesday. Not sure what breed he is. Any ideas?

If you put your general location into your profile people can give better-targeted advice when climate or other regional factors matter.

For example, I am unaware of any US breed that at all resembles your handsome fellow.

But if you're in the US and got him from a hatchery or feed store I'd suspect that he's some kind of "egger" since various hatchery designer egger hybrids are very popular right now and there is no standard for their appearance.

If you're in the US and got him from a private individual's flock then he's probably some kind of backyard mix.

The white earlobes suggest some Mediterranean heritage. The white legs suggest British or European heritage.

The modified peacomb suggests Brahma or Ameraucana heritage -- with the former unlikely due to lack of foot feathers.

My semi-informed guess is that he's some kind of hatchery-developed Olive egger with Ameraucana and Marans genetics and a dose of Leghorn to boost the egg laying potential. But I could be completely wrong.

If you're not in the US he may be of a local breed that I'm unaware of.

So if he came from a hatchery or a farm store then he's almost certainly some form of "egger".
