Any ideas about this boy?

Looks like a black minorca to me. I thought Ancona's have white mixed in with it.

Yes, I did get them from Sandhill. I got a definitive list with no packing peanuts or experimentals listed. The interesting thing is that there were no leghorns on the list, there were black orps on the list but none of the birds look like orps. The reason I'm having a little trouble is that there are so many varieties - most of which are obvious - but some are splash because of non dominant genes and overlap breeds in appearance. The others, like the one in the picture, (there is another that looks identical) are either all black or with a couple white feathers. I have about 6 birds I can't identify. Maybe black leghorns were mis-identified as black orps? Because there are about the same number of birds that should have been orps that look similar to this guy. Thanks.

Andalusian? They come in Blue, Splash & BLACK.

The comb isn't attached all the way at the back, it leaves the head and extends with about three more points.
