Any ideas for recovering energy after spell with bad heart?

You're door fell off....

At cardiac rehab they started me out walking--slowly-- on the tread mill for 10 min. and then go on the bike for 8 min. I built up to 20 min. walking a bit faster each week and 12 min. on the bike 3x a week and hooked up to a heart monitor...plus stretching and a lap around the room 2x before we got started. Drinking lots of water or you're blood pressure drops.

I was the only 37 year old out of a room full of golden oldies...didn't matter....I still enjoyed thier company. Day by day mfb and you know what you can tolerate...you're body will tell ya.

Now seriously Maple, what kinda luck does a guy have to have to live in a house where his door falls off.

I could win a thousand dollars in the lottery and I'd get a ticket for two thousand for illigal gambling. I just can't win.

oh, and if Doc wants somebody on the treadmil when I go to see him this week, he better have somebody else lined up. I can hardly walk into the office.

Your energy will come back it takes time. Health issues suck, more so when you are normally an active person. Sorry to hear of your troubles. You sound like you have a positive attitude that's more than half the battle.

I hope not... Cause I think the only cure is fat silkies...
Just sayin'

fat broody silkies

Also wanted to let you know I've had to go to the beginning of cardiac rehab before too....I got more stents in and had to start all over again. Very frustrating. It's the pits sometimes. Especially when Mr. Speed Walkin Never Miss A Beat Old Grampy Man gets on the treadmill next to ya.
