I have poodle crosses and all but one sheds. So, like stated just because they have poodle mixed in doesn't gurantee they won't shed. Where did your grandparents get the pup from?

Ah. Ok. If they want to be sure, next time they can ask to see the mom of the pup. Unless of course it was just this one and she was getting re-homed. Unfortunately sometimes people are not honest or they truly didn't know. Either way she is a cutie!

in the end, your grandparents got scammed. no one ethical is making poo-mixes. That means they start out with dogs that aren't genetically the best examples of the breed. Then they breed those dogs without any thought to even proving that they are healthy. then they scam buyers using words like "no shedding" "hypo-allergenic" "teacup"
there is no way to guess what traits from each breed an individual puppy might have.
