Any ideas on what breed this is?

do they sell blue if so it could be a splash, since blue breed to blue produces 25%black, 25%splash, and 50%blue.

Yep - I'd say a splash resulting from blue/blue breeding

This was a freebie mystery bird. I didn't buy it as anything. They also sent me an extra Buff Orpington cockerel but I'm familiar with those kind of birds so I can identify them easy enough. Fancy birds...I'm clueless.

oh i just got an order of chicks in some easter eggers, leghorns, and a polish. one of my easter eggers got wounded today though.

It's definitely gone through quite a change. When I originally asked people what breed I got responses like Black Cochin and Black Langshan. Then it turned more white almost overnight!

hm i wonder if it could be genetic and did just turn white on a molt.
