hi all today we heard the girls shouting and making a real noise, when we want out discovered a white chicken in the yard, we eventually managed to catch it but clearly not used to people handling it. I've put it in the run with the girls but fenced off in a small area., it as ravenously hungry it's got food water and shade. Appears lice free, I've no idea how to tell if it's a boy or a girl. The neighbour said someone probably dumped it because of the holidays, we live near to farms and woods maybe they drop it off in the woods.
Also don't know the breed all white with red comb, I'm in Europe. The neighbour said she suspects it's a cockerel and maybe it's was given at Easter and has now started to crow..
