I agree it does look like that, but she didn’t have scoping done. it does look like the necrosis is coming from that puncture hole. Maybe it was done by one of the wood shavings she is laying on, or maybe from the towel clamp used during surgery... not sure what happened there, but this was 1 complication she didn’t need!Thanks for the update. At first I thought that was a puncture from where a scope was used. Glad she’s still holding her own. Happy New Year to you and little Miss Willow![]()
Glad to hear good news!Day 6- Wednesday- Willow is doing well. She’s more alert and active, even stretching and flapping her wings. She’s sick of sleeping on the floor and even thought she’s not supposed to be jumping, she jumped up on a chest in the spar room she’s in to sleep on overnight. The skin that was black is now tough and forming a scab like material, which the vet says is a good thing. Still not sure why she was having the skin problem but at least she’s slowly healing.
Day7- Thursday- it’s been a week since surgery and Willow continues to do well.
