Any Of You Ever lived In A Haunted House?

Yes, I've had that dream several times! Its like being paralyzed and trying so hard to scream so you can end the nightmare, but you can't scream. Sometimes I wake up making this little hissing sound in my throat, its very disturbing. I wake up with a flood of adrenaline and my eyes pop open. I had one not that long ago, maybe a couple months ago. LOL I'm beginning to sound disturbed.

It is supposed to be called sleep paralyzes. Look it up. Apparently, your brain is still dreaming but you are awake. At least that is what scientist claim.

That's astral projection, when you're soul has left your body and is now returning to your body, but in the instant that your soul is trying to get back into your body, you're waking up due to what's going on. Hey, I don't know if all that is really true or not, it's just telling ya what I've read in Sylvia Browne's books. Deb1's post makes sense too, so

Another ghost story: my grandparents where friends with a couple who never had children. The hubby was a penny pincher like you can't believe! He'd tell you how many ice cubes to put in his soda - never more than 2 no matter how hot the soda was! He'd limit how much tv him and his wife watched since it used electricity. I could go on and on. When they were getting up in yrs and hubby's health began to fail badly, the hubby asked my grandparents if they'd take care of them since they didn't have children or close relatives & they'd inherit whatever he owned and whatever was in his bank acct. My grandparents said yes since they were such good friends. The hubby died first and then 2 yrs later the wife. Not too long after the wife died my aunt needed a place to live with her and her children after her divorce, so the vacant home was a blessing to my aunt. Not long after they moved in they had stuff moved all the time. The funniest thing was one time my aunt went to grab for the tv remote and it went flying across the room! Just makes me laugh everytime I think of it knowing how the hubby was probably the culprit since he liked to limit the amt of tv being watched in the house!

Ive had it happend to be once.

I had set my TV on sleep and a second before it went off my eyes opened. I saw a black figure dart across a snowy screen then PFT the tv went off. I was paralized. Everything was locked down. I wasnt scared really. I didnt even know really what was going on until my body released from its tightened stage..

Fascinating stuff, the brain does so many weird things. The near death experience is interesting too. I actually had a dream a few weeks ago that I died, the first one I've ever had. In the dream, as I was dying, I was relieved, and thought, "this isn't so bad". It wasn't even that scary during the time, but for a few nights after that I was a little worried in the back of my mind that I was going to die in my sleep. I kept jolting awake every time I drifted off.

You can't move if you can't afford the mortgage AND rent. I know a lot of people that say that they would just leave the house, but where are you going to go. Living in our car during the middle of winter would have been horrible.

Plus, our ghost was just annoying not mean.
