Apple seeds contain a Cyanide compound.

Our ladies and gent love apples. I mean they eat every last bite. My boys 2yo and 4yo pick them up and fill their buckets full of them and we dump them out in the run. The devour them! They love the buggy friends in them too!

We have 4 apple trees that are basically chicken feeders

When I see apples on the ground, I cut them open and toss them back on the ground and the hens go crazy. For some reason I do not like the apples, they're wierd. I prefer the grocery store variety

I'm 99.9999% positive they do not pick out the seeds.....all are just fine. This fall they will all be gorging themselves on apples again, I am sure!
