No,,, for some of them it's quite hard. I have a leg band on one of my Black Australorps just to be sure, but now that I know their personalities a bit better, I can tell.
I can tell one of the girls apart because she is a little lighter colored! but tomorrow I will have to check the other two's beaks. That may be the way to tellNo,,, for some of them it's quite hard. My barred rocks are the same, except for their beaks, and it seems if I am correct, yours have the same thing. One seems to have a more yellow beak than the other that has more black on it? Am I wrong? That is the way I tell my two apart. One's beak is almost all black, and the others is yellow.
Let me know!

ps,, loving the pics!
Hi,
My flock was hatched May 19th ish. I have a small mixed group. 6 total. 1 each, black austrollorp, light brahma, buff Orpington, RIR, Welsummer, aaaahhhh. And ugh the last one bloody hell can't remember the breed. Columbian something. Looks just like the light brahma, but no feathered feet. Anyway, the austrollorp got all pecky and was bulling the RIR for like two weeks. She finally laid three days ago and went all sweet and passive. So by count 6 months old and she is the only one so far. She did the song today and nested for 40 mins but no egg. The light brahma is squatting and staying down when I go to pet her, and getting sassy, so I am guessing she will be next to lay.
I have a Columbian Wyandotte too!I got it. "Columbian Wyndotte".
