Well, it sounds like quite a few people got Christmas eggs. Congratulations!
We're still waiting. I kept the girls in the run yesterday and today just in case they were laying in the bushes or something and I didn't know it. They usually get to free range all day. I had seen them hanging around under the hedge and near the shed so I was getting suspicious. But, no eggs.
Flora was crowing up a storm today. (He's the surprise roo. I named him when we got him as a little chick, expecting a girl...) I think he wanted to get out and look for bugs. I'll let them back out tomorrow. Maybe I'll try keeping them in again in a month or so if there's still no eggs. I guess we just need more daylight.
