This is an EE hatched out almost 6 weeks ago. I kept it, desperately hoping it's a girl but I have serious doubts. Any thoughts?

I'll guess first - ROO.

I basing this on the wide and slightly pink comb. Also, because of the black and white coloring and tallish appearance.
JUST a guess because it is too young to tell.

However, will you give us an update in a month or too and let us know if we were right ?

I'm guessing pullet. The comb does not look that red to me. The white seems concentrated around the head and breast. The EEs that I have are black and white like that but the white is dispersed. I'll try to go get a pic now.

I believe that it's a pullet, but give it a while to develop better and you will find out if it's a roo or pullet.

Here are my two that were born 12/03/09. Both of mine are boys.

And I just got to show off my surprise.

Thanks for all the opinions and the pics. I'll wait a little longer to see what happens.

It looks like 3 rows on the comb? If it has 3 rows that you can clearly see it is probably a male. It is a little hard to tell in the picture. A side view of the saddle feather would help too.
