Any Rabbit Breeders/Owners Here at BYC?

Pics
Welcome to the "Any Rabbit Breeders/Owners Here at BYC" thread!

I am an avid animal lover and breeder. My 2nd favorite animal are chickens, but can anyone guess what my 1st favorite is? Rabbits!! Always has been.
And since I cannot find a online Rabbit group like BYC, I thought for sure that there would be rabbit owners/breeders on here!
So, let's talk in the comments!

Questions:
1) How many rabbits do you own?

2) How long have you had rabbits? Or Rabbit?

3) What's your top favorite breed?

4) Why did you get your rabbit(s)?

5) (If you breed (or have bred in the past) Why did you start (or stop) breeding rabbits?

6) What's your rabbit(s) name(s)?

7) What breed(s) are/is your rabbit(s)?

8) Why did you choose the breed you did?

Thank you! And please join me in the comments! I am looking forward to hearing your all's stories!

Come on let's get more bunny onwers/breeders here! I'm tagging the people I know has bunnies!😊

I'm about to get some chickens. I'm currently working on the coop.
I had two wild ducks that would eat from my hand ad follow me everywhere. The cameeveru spring. They're the reason I joined BYC and got interested in domestic ducks and chickens.

As for rabbits, I've done research on the for over 3 years and I'm working on a complete rabbit care and info article. I love educating people about rabbits and helping new bunny owners. I've always enjoyed being around rabbit and I often donate DIY toys to rescues, sanctuaries, and farms that have pet rabbits.
I'm planning on adopting a bonded pair soon now. I've waited to get one for a while because of the time and money they take, and I understand that they aren't the easy beginner pets that people often make them out to be. But now that I'm ready I'm really excited to bring some rabbits of my own into my life.

Come join us! Tell your story why you got your bunny! 😁
The local rabbit nutters twisted my arm.
I had been thinking about getting a rabbit so I was learning about them when all of a sudden I just happened to accidentally find freshly hatched rabbits down the street.

I counted down the days till I could bring him home. He is the softest thing I have ever felt.

He's just 8, not 9. He's gone down hill unfortunately and will be putting him down before winter if he doesn't pass on his own. He's blind, deaf and starting to have hip problems, and won't make it through winter here unfortunately. He was a good boy though and threw the best markings on his offspring
Help him.

What is kinda funny though is that his picture pops up on Google's first handful of images years after it was taken at fair, it's one on the breed page for wikipedia. He's next to Joker, a Japanese harlequin and in front of Spring, one of his sisters from another litter.

I think he was 2 or 3 in this picture? He won Grand a few times in showmanship, but we had to switch rabbits for round robin because he was too aggressive for the less experienced showers
I know the color blue... And broken pattern.

That's it for now.

Which one is your rabbit in the picture above.. the one on the right or the left?

@MapleValleyAcresPoultry You didn't answer the questions yet. 😭

Also just so you know for the future...if you edit a post and add a tag... The person will not get an alert for it.

Adding one after you've hit post reply doesn't work.
