I'm looking to buy some new additions to my flock and would like some input from those in the know. I'm looking for Cayuga, Crested, and Khaki Campbell Ducklings.

If you have any recommendations or any "steer clear off" locations, I will greatly appreciate the help.

Welcome! The best place I know of that sells really good quality ducklings is Holderread Farms - they will even sell you ducklings out of top show quality ducks. They have cayugas, but I don't think they have khaki campbells or cresteds. The second best place would be Metzer Farms - they specialize in just waterfowl so even though the quality is not going to be as good as Holderread's, they will have the best quality out of any other hatchery. You might also take a look in your local state thread and see if you have any breeders near you, as that would be the absolute best option. Also, before you get Crested Ducks, you might want to take a look at this link, just so you are prepared and know what you are getting into: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/707110/the-truth-behind-crested-ducks#post_9616584

Well Holdereads farm makes you pay with money and you have to send a check through mail, I don't think they are the best. All I know its definitely DON'T order for eFowl.com. There customer service is terrible and I recently just had a very bad experience with them. eFowl.com is the cheapest though and their website is great, so its up to you.

Holderread is the best hatchery for top quality. They are old fashioned and it's all by mail but they are the place to go. I got my girls from Metzer and have been very happy with them. They are not show quality but they are perfect for my back yard flock and I could order less than 10 and get them sexed. I also had some healthy pekins from Ideal but I don't know about their shipping since they are local for me. Just an FYI do you know what causes the crest in a crested? There are quite a few problems with them if you ever plan on breeding them. They are very cute but it's a genetic mutation that give them the crest and it can cause other problems as well.

Thank you for this information I have found it very helpful. After looking at your attached link we will not be moving forward with the crested duck.
