Any thoughts on Bovan Brown for starter chickens. New egg here

A guy near me is selling Bovan Brown pullets. My coop is about done and no chickens yet. Thinking of adding a couple of them. I think they are a RIR /RIW. Also if they are pullets could I mix smaller chicks in with them without having any problems. Would like a good mixture when i'm done with a few Barred Rocks, Buff Orpingtons, and maybe these Bovan Brown pullets. Also I would get a jump start on egg production. Thanks for any help for this new egg

Never heard that name but it sounds like another of the many names for Red Sex Links. They're egg laying machines.

I have gold sex links that are probably similar and I'm very happy with them: they are friendly and curious, love to forage, and smart enough to figure out how to deal with me modifying their coop every three days!

So far ( ive had them two weeks since they were five weeks old) their health is great and they are feathering really nicely. Growing like weeds, too!
