Any thoughts on what breed this is?

I posted these chicks a couple of weeks ago but I still wonder what breed this is. They’re now 6 weeks old and I posted them at 2 weeks. I think majority thought they were silkies but I’m not sure

Definitely not Silkies. Where did they come from?

Interesting... Maybe one of the new fancy named hatchery mixes that lay colored eggs?

That's what I'm guessing. I haven't seen this mix yet I don't think.

Maybe a White Mystic Onyx? That's the only dark skinned bird I can think of (other than silkie) that could come from TSC. MO chickens aren't supposed to come in white though.

I have seen other white dark-skinned birds this year--maybe it's a new hybrid that hasn't been officially released yet. Not the first time Hoovers has done something like that.

Mystic Onyx was the first thing I thought of with that skin too.

I want to say I saw a white fibro bird from TSC in a different thread as well. I'm kinda wondering if it's a variation in Southern Ramblers or Mystic Onyx. Could definitely be a new egger or just random mix they've made up too... Whether it's a named mix or not, he's a pretty mutt regardless

Yes!! I saw another thread as well. Cool looking birds. Less egregious in my opinion compared to the multiple of eggers
