After having to run home 'forgetting'
to close the coop door....
I need help.

I've tried to do some searches on the idea
I've found nothing that's reasonable.
Only thing I've found is over $100.

You all are so brilliant in your ideas...I would love to hear
your wisdom.

Thank ahead of time.

We got our first one from the UK and it came right away. We got our second one from the manufacturer in Germany. Foy's now carries them in the US.

We have the one with the light sensor probe. The door and unit are installed on the inside of the coop and the probe with the light sensor goes through a small hole in the wall to the outside. There are different models and different ways to install them, depending on your needs.

My family bought me for Christmas last year the one in Backyard Poultry Magazine.

I didn't want to spend the money either so my mom, dad and neices and nephews split the cost and gave it to me as a present. Yes, they think I am a little nuts but it is what I wanted so they did it.

So you might try that as a way to get one.

I was happy:)

I have thought about that for years, but didn't know there was something like that.
a baby garage door opener How cool is that.

I've seen those offerrings...
It just seems nuts to pay so much for a door for chickens.

Even if I make my own it still looking like over 75 bucks.
Still crazy
