Any tips for going to Gatlinburg Tennessee area?

I agree on Cades cove but if you want to see anything you need to go early early morning, or late evening.

If your into picture taking, the drive from Gatlinburg to Cherokee NC is Beautiful there are a few places to stop and look out over the mtns.

The Chair lifts also give you a beautiful view (a lil high $24.50 for 2 people)

We did Ripleys Haunted Adventures and the motion Movie theater ( OK, not worth $46 for 2 people)

The Aquarium was well worth it.

I've got pictures of said tourists within 50 ft. of a momma bear and her cub at cades cove! I couldn't believe how stupid they were, and how calm the bear was about it.

I think Cades cove is closed right now due to some really heavy bear activity.
At least it was.. Check on it if you could.

Check local event calendars also..We have a bunch of fall festivals going on also .

Ripleys is not as good as the one in chattanooga for sure ,Its nice enough tho.

Go out of the way to see other stuff.. we have nice markets with some good local food stuff. Visit some of the out of way areas ..

We live in a little podunk place and nothing going on here but we are big on festivals..especialy in the fall .

If i think of any more.. i will edit this.. again..lol
My medsare making me so foggy.. cant think atm

Ever see video of the man at Yellowstone that gets head butted/hurled about 20 feet in the air by a Bison?
DUH!
People have a Disney mentality when it comes to wild animals. SOO dumb!
