Any way to avoid poop flying in face when flipping upside down?

So I know that when you flip the broilers it often triggers a bowl movement. I have to flip them upside down for show and I’ve been practicing, and I’m wondering if there is any possible way to prevent poop from flying in my face when i flip them? I even pull them to the side before putting them against my chest to stop them from flapping.
