Awww, cute dogs and chicks! I am getting rather fed up with my bully (Oreo), she is a total sweetheart of a dog, but she keeps wanting to play with the chickens! The dogs are never let out in the yard alone with the chickens, but if I go out to do chores and the chickens are out, I let the dogs come with me. I never end up getting anything done. I spend all my time keeping the dogs (Oreo more than Chewie), from chasing the chickens, sniffing the chicken butts, and just in general trying to play with the chickens. Neither of them tries to take a bite out of the chickens, they are obviously trying to play, but it is getting wearisome. Thank goodness we are going to be putting up a chicken run soon! I'm worried now what Oreo will do with the goats when they arrive. I can't have her chasing them!
