Anyone know what it is?
Thanks! There's a pair of them with their baby across the street. Maybe I'll try some fake crows.A beautiful shot of a red-tail Hawk, We have those nasty birds all over my place. i put up fake crows which seems to scare them away..
I'd do that if they are nesting, A pair of any hawks will nest their young next to a well-stocked supply of food which means you're probably seeing the male scoping out your flock for food. Thanks! There's a pair of them with their baby across the street. Maybe I'll try some fake crows.
I lost four ducklings in one day!I'd do that if they are nesting, A pair of any hawks will nest their young next to a well-stocked supply of food which means you're probably seeing the male scoping out your flock for food.
From a hawk? If so then this hawk has made your flock it's main food source.. I'd get fake crows ASAP or you're going to lose a lot more.. Crows are naturally hawk's rival and hawks will try to avoid them if they seem them in groups.I lost four ducklings in one day!
