I would think that 60's is fine. I've hatched between 55 & 65.

Stuck chick is out!!!

The little bit of yolk stayed with the egg. Poor little guy is a bit shrink wrapped but chirping and flopping

I think 60's is OK but I don't think I should have to have 50% of the bator filled with dishes to get it there. Should I? I wanted to get it a bit extra high for the stuck chicks.

Im home and yes I know my husband has been on BYC for the last 2 days. All is good, just have to take it easy and don't get mad, LOL!

I have 4 babies out and 6 p&z
One of the babies seem to have a hard time holding it's head up. We are watching that one. Other 3 are doing really good. One of them was a surprise, we didn't see it hatch or even pip. We got home from the hospital and found it that way, the babysitter said she didn't even know about it. She didn't pay any mind to the bator the entire time she was there

I don't know how she did it.

Glad to hear you are home

After finally going to bed at 1 am last night I was woken up at 5 bu hubby to toll me that one of the chicks had drowned in the water dish. I am pretty sure that it was one of the babies that hatched on its own. My wrong ender made it allthe way out and I think it is doing good. The other one that I helped is not drying or getting up and it is peeping like crazy. I ran it under water to try to get some of the hard gook off of it and it seems to be fluffing some now. It's foot has all the toes but I don;t think the leg is right.
