Anybody else dying for hatching season to start?

Yup~ I've got 32 Duck eggs in the incubator. Some Khaki campbells, buffs, Welsh harlequins, and some Gray call duck eggs. I'd love to hatch some peafowl and Muscovy ducks. But For now i'll have to stick with my chickens, turkeys, guineas, and Red golden pheasants. What are you incubating right now and what day are you on? After this hatch i'll be setting some Easter eggers, Barred rocks, Seramas, and some Black Jersey Giant x Light Brahma mixed eggs for my next batch.

I was persuaded to start early. 41 chicken eggs on day 12. I’m excited because a handful were refrigerated first and seem to be developing great anyway. Also excited because one (just one, lack of space) comes from my own chickens. My first grandchicken! It also seems to be developing well. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn it was fertile since my oldest cockerel is only 14 weeks old!

just on day 3! The last batch is doing great though. This will be our first year for ducks. Im excited. Im hoping they will go broody and hatch their own.

:woot I'm on day 6 and i'm already going bonkers :th Hoping for a good hatch rate though. This hatching thing is very addictive, I'm already planning on what to hatch next after this clutch and the clutch after. Are you having anything specific? Or are they barnyard mixes?

I didn't want to start my hatching until at least March. But one of my hens went broody.:celebrate She is on day 12 with them and when I candled yesterday there appeared to be several eggs developing. So I'm still holding off on the incubator but getting very excited to see babies again! :clap :jumpy

I’m hatching these to sell to someone who already asked for them. Neither they nor I am picky, lol. Mottled bantam Cochins which I’ll probably keep, the rest are Isa browns and “Americana.” They only want six, so I’ll keep what they don’t want. Mine are mostly mixed, some Australorp and EE. The grandchick is Polish/Orpington/other stuff.

I’m planning, too. We decided our designated garden space would b come chicken space, so more chicken math for me!

I cant wait!! I am hoping to hatch peafowl, turkey, pheasant, Muscovy duck and chicken eggs ( black jersey giants, buff orpington and backyard mixes) !! I did just hatch 30 mixed chicks and have 40 more eggs in the incubator. Im so ready but its still so cold!
It never ended here..

Just put 34 in the bator. 29 BCM and 1 BCM xCuckoo marans and 4 Cream Legbar x BCM. Hatch day March 3, I think. Planning on selling most of the BCM chicks but keeping the mixes as they are from my flock. Yes, this whole thing is ridiculously addictive:)

Start.... um.... Start I don't think it ever stopped in my house..... I hatched for Christmas. and for Newyears and jan 21st ....... Oh and I put 12 duck eggs and 3 turkey and then added 28 chicken eggs all set to hatch on Feb 28th.
all of the eggs are barnyard mix most from my own flock and this is my first time for duck eggs so very excited!
