Anybody else ready for cooler weather?

I'm right there with mom'sfolly and piecemaker, literally! This is our 67th day of highs of 100 or over (almost every day it's over)! As for all of you who are getting unusually lovely weather, it's caused by the same weather conditions that are keeping us hot down here, so pardon me if I wish you a little warm spell

. Seriously, though, I'm ready for some cool, especially a front to come through and rain. If I wasn't watering every single tree and plant would be dead from the combination of heat and drought.

It's been so hot and humid that I can't really work outside after noon or 1. My sympathies with all of the poor souls who have to work outside after that time!!! Right now, I'll even take an ice storm. I can't be stuck inside much more than I am now and there'd be water for the plants afterwards!

Boyd if I had a smilie that stuck it tongue out, I'd use it on you! Not nice to rub in the cool whether to us southreners LOL!

Try living here... it's always cold it seems... and raining..... think we had about two weeks or so of good weather...... tonight winds are gusting and getting ready for more rain (((SIGH)))) ..

I love the sunshine.... just wish we had a little bit more of it.... then again I suppose it is always lovely and green here.... can't have everything I suppose..... but please just a little bit more sunshine.....

If you need some HOT, dry weather, ya'll just come right on down. We'll have you all fixed up in only a day or two!

Great! I'll have a Stetson, lawn chair, and plenty of Gatorade and Pedialyte ready for rehydration as needed. There's plenty of hummingbirds to watch and some silly chickens too!
I'll try to round up a horse, too. That way you can get a breeze going over you when it gets too hot. (The chickens' fan is a little too small to work on people.)

I'd take a hurrican about now. I think that is the only thing that will blow the weather around. My heart bleeds sweat for those of you that have had cool weather and rain. My pond is 20 feet deep wait I should say I have a hole in the front yard that is 20 feet deep. If it doesn't rain soon the bass will be sunbathing in that hole!!!
