Anybody going to be hatching around March 22?

Ok so I am going crazy too. I started mine the morning of Feb. 28th. I added 2 more on March 1st. So, am I going to get them to start hatching on Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

I got mixed up and thought today was the day to stop turning so I was going to cheat and add more humidity last night. I added a bunch of HOT water, and this morning my tempurature had dropped to 95! I was freaking out so started uping and uping it. Got it to 101 (still air) and was happy it was there all morning. I went to town tonight, got home and darn if it wasn't at 104.5

I am so tired of these fluctuations. It happens every time the weather changes or I add water. I hope they aren't all cooked. I can't even tell movement with them at this stage, the candling thing isn't working with them so full. I am so frustrated I want to cry. Of course these guys have been through worse. The first day I put them in they went to 110 and they are still kicking.

Wish me luck.

Friday is the due date for the ee mutt in the bator. Can't wait to see who the dad is! And again, we will be taking the bator on the road with us this weekend! It worked the last time so don't know why it shouldn't this time.

Ok so I set my eggs March 1 at 440 pm. Tomorrow is the 18th day. Do I turn them at all tomorrow or just leave them alone until they hatch?

They went into the hatcher last night. 101F and 67% humidity, just about perfect. I sat up with them for a few hours and the temperature appeared to be steady.

I went down this morning and it was reading 104!

I go it down to 101.5 before I had to leave for work this morning. Hopefully the babies are still ok.

Ok, I'm due on the 25th, so last night I candled again. I had done it one time and marked a check on the one's I felt positive were ok, but with 41 in there I didn't make it to look at all of them, so last night I finished up. I have thrown out 7 total so I'm down to 34. I have two roosters with 4 hens a piece and this is the second time hatching. All seven clear eggs came from my roo named Ferguson. I am doing much better about the wait thing this time around, my hatch before was 7 out of the 10 that were fertile. My problem is I keep thinking about what to hatch next!!!

I would suggest just relax to a lot of you guys, I stressed out every minute of my last hatch, if my numbers moved slightly I was a wreck, but it turned out fine even though I learned that my humidity was probably way high at the end (the gage is off) and I have two thermometers that read at least 2 degrees different (I have no idea which is right)!! I just tell myself that a hen cannot always control the temp or humidity to the exact degree, and she has to get up to eat and drink, so the eggs are probably a little tougher than we give them credit!!

Good Luck!!

I set mine March 1st too, around 5... But I thought March 2nd was Day 1. Making today Day 17. So do I turn all day tomorrow and then like before I go to bed, up the humidity?? Can humidity be too high for hatching??

Let me again say, if some of these eggs dont hatch, I may lose my mind...
