I just heard a peep-peep. Can it be true?!? Is it possible? Or am I just imagining???? Wait......., I just had my wife listen and she says she heard it too.
Do they chirp or cheep or whatever before they even break out???

Yesterdays Chickie is in the brooder...and day 21 on the silkies is today.....and I have 1 zip and 2 pipping!! YEAH!!

its officially day 19 and my temp is down to 95!?! what do i do? should I turn it up???

Should I be hearing peeping??

Is youre house cooler , did it just start to go down , have you opened it or added water or moved it. ???
Have you tried putting a towl over half of it to see if it will heat up a degree or two?

It has been a stable 98 for the whole 19 days and tonight we were out for dinner, got back and noticed it was down. DH says its at 94 now. Humidity is at 46. I haven't opened it all day. Last night we put the eggs from the turner into the carton.
My house isn't any cooler than it has been.

Im new but I think 98 even is a little to low you may have a bit of a delayed hatch. I would turn it up just a tiny smide wait an hour then see were its at, i think day 18 and up you should shoot for at least 55-60% or higher maybe humidity.
