Ah, OK. They are bantam cochins. I have a bunch of those too. Mine are almost two weeks old. I just love the feather footed chickens.

Update!

I now have 10 chicks - 8 EEs and 2 Frizzle mixes which were shipped from California!

I have one more EE egg which pipped this afternoon, one other EE egg and a Polish egg that haven't done anything.

I'm at the end of day 22... I'm hoping this pipped one will hatch out fine tonight, then I will candle the other two and see what's up with them (unless one of them pips tonight!)

I ended up with 10 out of 18. Three pipped but didn't make it. There was also one that was fully developed but didn't pip. Not bad for 1st time w/ new set-up.

Update!!!!! 42 in the brooder and 3 more almost out out in the bator starting on day 23 now.
