Anybody hatching around March 7th? PICS page 9,18

She is a mixed BB red bantam. A friend sent me some eggs from her mixed flock. She included a duck!! I have no idea what I will do with the duck. Probably sell her.

I have one more of these little tiny bantams and then two more slightly larger ones. Not sure what they are either. Just like Christmas!

Don't worry about your standard eggs, they shouldn't be pipping until 21 days unless you had your temps high.
I am SO impatient too!!! Can't get a thing done when I am hatching eggs.

This is a pic of three week old chicks from the same lady. I believe these are the same as my new chick.

This new chick looks like the color of the one on the right. All pullets.

OMG!!!!! I just checked, and was opening the top to candle a few - just to see if they had movement in them (Don't do it!!!)

As I was putting one back, I looked at another one and noticed a PIP!!!!!! Yay! My first Pip!!! It's one of the EEs... weird, huh? But it is closer to the light than some of the others.... WOW... I will probably not sleep much tonight!

I wish I could take some pictures, but the top to the 'bator is all crinkly/cracked and I can't get my camera to focus on anything in there!

*** AND - I'm NOT opening it again until they're all ready to come out!!!!!*****

Be sure to check your humidity now that you have opened it. You really need to leave it closed completely for the last three days or you can mess up your hatch really easily.
I have pip #3 in one of the larger eggs! #2 is still working on it.

I am certainly NOT opening it again until the hatch is completed... and I'm stuck with my humidity at 60% - I can't 'up' it anymore... it's completely full of water, and all of my 6 sponges are soaking wet! Temp is holding at 99.5 on the nose. Em

60 is fine. You don't want it too high or too low.
My poor little lone chick in the bator is chirping so loud. She is lonely. She stops as soon as I go and talk to her and she sees me in the window.
They really do get tame when you hatch them yourself.

Well... maybe I'll have a chick in the morning...? It's pipped a little bit bigger X, but hasn't broken any shell off yet... I think it's resting now. I hope it's OK.... and a girl!!! I'm gonna go check on her one more time, then I HAVE to go to bed!

Just got my second one! This is the third one to pip and second to hatch. It is a dark chick. Might have some lighter feathers on the head. Don't have a clue what kind it is.
The second one to pip is still sitting there but I did see it bump the broken shell a minute ago so it is still OK.
Heading to bed now. Will probably have a third chick in the a.m.
