Sure, I love to have some...I PMed you!

Hubby sure would like to try to hunt but has NO skills. He does have a bow but the arrows are questionable quality. He did want to sell his bow because it has been sitting there for years. He gave one away in trade for some meat but never got any meat from the trade, it's been over five years LOL! I don't know what kind of bow it is but from what he was saying it was one of the good ones. Not top of the line tho.

I will ask him for more details if he wanted to sell it.

I have been out several times but don't have anything to show for it yet. I was walking out the other day and came face to face with a nice 10 point whitetail buck. He was about 30 yards from me, I was going up a knoll and he was on the otherside. He didn't hear me and I didn't hear him because it was RAINING cats and dogs. We just stared at each other until he turned and loped away.

I am off all next week and plan on being in the woods everyday with my bow.

My DH has been out too, but nothing yet for him. With his new job he doesn't have the time to get out as much anymore.

My wife got one with the car last week. Does that count? Local paper is filled with car/deer crashes. The rut has started, and bucks are driving does and the local deer are all skittish.

I hit one on the way hunting last year. Iwas going about 45 and out it comes. It just knocked off my front liscense plate though. It was a doe, so I tagged it as mine because I get unlimited does in Kentucky.

Bow licences sits in the envlope yet...
Have not had time to get out..

However I had the the unfortunate situation where I "tagged" a large doe with my truck tonight...

Hubby got one two weeks ago, nice doe with a crossbow. I instead spilled my own blood with my crossbow (it broke and tried to rip off my finger). I now have a nicer one, and hope to get a shot at something this weekend!

I shot a doe and then a buck on the last day of first gun here with my muzzleloader (we can only use shotguns and ml here not rifle), buck, a nice 4.5 year old 10 point a little over 150 I think, haven't measured yet. He is a big boy, not sure on the the weight. So with my daughers small buck and the archery doe, that is 4 so far. She want to try again, she can get another buck tag for second gun that starts this weekend, and we have a ton of doe tags. I will try to post a pic of the buck, if I find one where I don't look like someone beat me, we found him the next am, and I really do look like I just woke up!
