Hmm. My second one is still just a zipless pip, but the first one is finally free of the tagalong shell and is noisily making its way from one side of the 'bator to the other.

Only one sad thing to note:

Looks like bad roos. DD crossing her fingers that such a well-formed comb doesn't mean freezer camp is in Lunar's future. (We were hoping for a Luna.)

That's understandable.

I awoke to 3 noisy babies... Lunar; the finally zipped and popped N (Nutmeg? DD hasn't decided); and Pepper who pipped, zipped and popped while we slept.

K is pipped and probably adding to the cacophony, you can just barely see a beak in there.

None of the store-bought have pipped, but they were all moving when we candled at day 18. Still one last letter left to pip, O.

I don't want to go to campus today.
