Anyone actually like/love their job anymore?

I love my job too!!!

I work in a hospital as an OB nurse.

I have a passion for nursing and for labor, delivery, and of course babies!!

Just wanted to say when I had my daughter, I LOVED my OB nurse. I had a horrible pregnancy, and no "birth training". Went in only knowing I wanted an epidural, and put the rest in my nurse's hands. It was a fun, happy, relaxed and wonderful experience! I told her I figured she'd been around more births than me, so she would know best! LOL!

Yes, been there done that... It is doubtful I will ever work for any one other than myself again.

I have to like my work I am my own boss.. Hard labor with little return! Whats not to love about it.!

Seriously though, being entrepreneurial is fun... I design my days to have a variety of work.

Im the office manager of a large horse training facility here in Ocala. I can truly say its never dull. Yesterday I stood outside the office and watched as 2 bald eagles circled over the duck pond, so low that you could see their eyes. The highlight is seeing our clients take horses that we trained here to bigger and better things. We've had several Derby winners come from here, as well as Breeders Cup winners...maybe one today! Ill never get rich doing this, but the entertainment value is priceless.

I teach. And yes, I absolutely love it!

X3!

(however there are days that i wish of being a full time chicken farmer!) :-)

No- and i get paid well to travel the world on a 26 million dollar yacht. When it comes down to it you will lose your enthusiasm for any job. maybe there is a set amount of years but I lost mine 6 years into my 26 years on yachts. But I do love raising the birds

When I was in high school, I had a few minimum wage jobs. But when you get right down to it, I have only had one real job and I have been there a little over 34 Years. When I hired in, I was newly married, had a baby on the way, and quite frankly, I needed the job and couldnt afford to quit. I think because I felt trapped into a job, I resented it and felt I had to do something I didnt really want to do. As time passed, and as more kids came along, as well as all kinds of bills, like mortages, car payment's and the occasional big boy toys. I buried myself deeper into haveing to have the job. This caused even more resentment against my company. Now the kids are gone, and I was eligable for retirement 3 years ago, it just seems like the pressure is off. I like what I do and I enjoy teaching the newhires how to do their jobs. I also can look around and see many kids that are acting just as I probably did 34 years ago. Some will quit, and some will stick it out, I just hope all will find something they like to do before they get to old to make a difference.

I currnently stay home with my kids and love it, although I have days where a job away from home sounds great. My last job was working in an animal hospital. I loved that job, I worked with several people that became good friends, we had some wonderful clients and there were always animals that I just fell in love with. When my kids are older I would love to have a job in a craft store, I do have a degree and I hope I will never end up using it

I love, love, love my job. I am a Medical Technologist and I work in the laboratory of a small, rural, critical access/chest pain certified hospital. I wont ever be rich, but I make a comfortable living, have benefits, and job security. I try to treat every patient as I would want my mother or father treated and to give them the best of my training and talents. Medical Technology is a great field to get into, even though it can be stressful in the bigger cities and hospitals, because not many people are going into the field and many medical technologists are approaching retirement age. So the demand for them in the next 10 years is only going to go up. I get a thrill when someone is helped because of ME! I have had several extremely rewarding experiences over the years and there are very few jobs that I would rather do.
