Anyone do Stained Glass?

Lunachick, Thanks so much for the compliments. I used what is called a glass saw. It is a wet saw that looks like a band saw but the blade is round and is covered with diamond dust. It is my new best friend in my glass shop. I am also blessed with a friend that has a kiln. He fused the red cross to the white banner and he also fired the knights face and the horses face for me after I painted them with a glass paint. I do use the solder patina but for this guy I thought that the lead color would be better. I use a U came around the edges for all my larger pieces even if I am going to mount them in a frame. It's just my opinion but I find the U came around the edges gives it more stability. You can also patina it with a zinc patina.

EDIT: I can't spell!!

Just thought I'd add one that I did for hubby for his birthday a few years ago, I like the dark patina on the solder, an example:

even tho it is faux??
I used to do woodworking, but my hands gave out on me and I had to find a gentler hobby that I could do without pain. I discovered the FAUX version of stained glass....
Just squeeze bottles of ''solder'' and colors.
Would much rather be able to do the real thing...but this feels my need to create along with sewing scrap quilts for the grandkids....LOL !
I love the pictures you all posted of your creations !! All very beautiful !!!!
