thank you <3 My Beast is "Bear" Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dog. I messed up his job by inviting him in to join me for coffee. Therefore the Coyote attack yesterday. This morning he was out and when I shot at the coyote Bear took off after him. I worried about Bear but he came back OK.

I also lost a buddy who slept in my lap after a coyote attack, shortly before the eclipse. I didn't know coyotes were in the area. I was hoping you would have better luck. I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm hoping you don't have any more Coyote experiences. We are so surprised to see the Coyotes in daylight hours. We are starting again with 6 baby pullets and got them a new coop as the old one was getting rotten and wouldn't hold up to an attack. Also now we have a young Livestock Guardian Dog on night duty. After a year of No Coyotes it seems the Eclipse brought them back. Interesting that the time frame matched yours. Good Luck to YOu!!!
