Anyone Due to Hatch on the 15th of July?pics GC's

First time incubator. I am hatching (day 21) on July 16th. Out of 24, have 15. As I candled them, I put an "F" in pencil on the eggs I saw veins/wiggles. However at Saturday's candling, I saw nothing, but the air bubble and darkness in 2/3 of egg. I hope that's good????!!!!
Started with 12 welsummers/6 copper maran and 6 wheaten marans. None of the wheaten's left. USPS took 5 days priority to get to me (in VT) from KY. And it was a HOT week. Oh well. I have a Brinsea ECO which seems very accurate. I purchased a 2nd hand Hovabator for the lock down. Having been running a few days to make sure Temp and Humidity is correct. Tonite all eggs go in-I hope for the best.

I'm nervous

Well I'm not hatching chickens this time but I have guineas & ducks due to hatch on the 15th. Everyone was taken off the turner yesterday and my first guinea hatched last night about 11:30 pm. (a little early) but it's fine. Two more pips today (there are 21 guinea eggs total). No action on the ducks yet. Good luck to everyone.

P.S. Pattymal, don't worry, your eggs will be fine.

I've hatched alot of eggs, more than some, not as many as others but a bit of advise to the "new eggs", RELAX! Pour a cup of coffee (decaf

) or a glass of wine and take a deep breath! They'll come when they're ready. As long your temps & humidity are in good range, it all you can really do. I've had eggs that took as little as 2 hrs from the first pip to 3 days to hatch and all were fine. I'm talking chickens, guineas & ducks!

I have a number of BO eggs from Greenfamilyfarms set to hatch Tuesday or Wednesday, and I have HIGH hopes for them.

A couple went bad (I am not knocking the eggs, this is to be expected out of 18 eggs, right?) but most look good. I am going to candle them one last time tonight.

I have been bragging on Huckleberry, my Egg Sniffing Dog.

If there is an egg starting to go bad in the incubator, he comes in and indicates which 'bator with his long nose, and then I open it up, and he shows me which egg!

See my son is in the military, and his bomb sniffing dogs work the SAME WAY as Huckleberry, my Egg Sniffing Dog!

I didn't teach him to do it, he did it once and I told him what a GOOOOOOD DOG he is, and now he is happy to do it. And a rotten egg really is a nuclear bomb there!

that is so cool i want 1/my dogs barely get out of bed to say hi so lazy they are,Neo mastiffs just a lot of drools and snores.

Mahalo seriously you left out the farting... You can't describe a neo without both drooling and farting...and the snoring... there, that's better...

I agree!

I adore Neapolitan Mastifs! They are so cute, but DH always reminds me that the bigger the dog, the bigger the p**p pile! LOL
I had no idea about the farting...
DH does enough of that already!
