Anyone else doing a MAJOR cleaning of their coop?

Orange Guard is an orange-oil based bug killer that is safe around animals. It smells really nice, too. When you clean everything out, you spray it into cracks and crevices, especially around nests and roost bars. ACE Hardware carries it in spray bottle and gallon jug with sprayer, which is what I have. If they don't have it, they can get it for you.

Thanks Speckledhen. I allow NO weird, scary chemicals around my birds so this sounds like a great product for me.

And done!

It didn't smell as bad as I thought it would. Luckily the portion where their waterer had tipped a few times had resulted into a shavings & poop, gigantic ice cube. And it was just warm enough to come off the floor

Washed down all the walls, floors, lamps, etc. That dust is everywhere! Spotless clean yesterday afternoon - it actually got to 37*! I trekked through the snow and dumped all the bedding. They have me so well trained!
