Yep. I felt guilty because I had to move my wyandotte's nest full of eggs because she had snuck outside the run to lay them and I finally got the run covered good so they can't get out anymore but she snuck out and I found the nest. I put it in the coop but she acted like she didn't recognize them there. She got out again (pushed her way between my legs at the gate) and ran straight to where her old nest was and looked and looked for her eggs. She even squawked real loud a few times like "what the heck? I know I left them right here!"
I had one go broody a little while ago, tried to take the eggs away and she went nuts! squaking and carrying on, so I put some fake eggs under her and she was a happy as can be!
