Anyone else get their MPC special? **Pics and updates**

Adorable. I love my EE. Mine looks exactly like the first chipmunk one you posted. In fact, she's named Chipmunk for that very reason. And she lays a beautiful light green egg.

Ok Soccer mom I will go get some pics. Need to anyway. I am going to be gone for 4 days and they probably will change so much in that short of time. Pics shortly.

The post office called at 6:40am this morning, and I went to their back door and picked up my rainbow layer assortment from MPC!

I ended up with 26! They were chirping up a storm on the ride home, but when I opened their box and placed them under the heat lamp to warm up, they promptly went to sleep (hence, snoozing chicks in my photos!

). I'll take some more pics tomorrow, but I basically received 14 light colored, 2 Gray/black/cream patterned, and 10 chipmunk patterned chicks.

Of the light, ten are yellow, two are peach colored, and 2 are yellow with a smokey gray cast. I think among the chipmunk chicks, I have 1 Speckled Sussex (I hope! Ihope!

), 'cause she's more red-tinted than the others and has a white chest. I guess the others are brown Leghorns. I haven't figured out who has puffy cheeks, yet.

They are extremely active and eating and drinking well.

This is half, guess I need to get batteries tomorrow for the camera so I can get the other 4. I have had them 1 week as of today.

Interesting how all the folks with the Rainbows got a little different mix of chicks.

It would be nice to see updated pics of everyone's babies as they grow.

That's a great idea; I'll try to post pics here weekly. It'll be fun to try to figure out what everyone has as they grow!​

It's amazing how fast they grow and change. My wife was gone for 2 days and couldn't believe how different they look.
