Mine are supposed to start tomorrow
if everything goes well. Congrats to both Momhunter and CarolineNH, glad hatching is going good and no serious problems. I love your border collie CarolineNH, it is gorgeous and reminds me of my pug with the chicks. Tido will sit by the chicks and just stare and them and if they will get close enough he will sniff them and then move away.
I do have a question about vibrations that could hurt the chicks inside the eggs. I have a very rowdy 2 year old who persists on running, stoming, and jumping through the house and it does jar the eggs around in the incubator quite a bit. I also live near a military base and they set off huge booms that shake my house almost everyday. I have had several chicks that were fully developed and died before hatching. Could this be the reason why?
