Anyone else getting ready for some new baby hatching?

Its half way through day 22 and just had my first pip. Very happy!

Yes, it did finally hatch

and 2 more just hatched about 30 minutes ago. I have 2 more that are zipping now. This is the best hatch rate I have had. Out of 16 eggs I have 4 that are hatched, 7 pipped, 2 zipping, and 3 that are not pipped yet.

Awesome!!! It's morning of day 23 still nothing for me.

If I normally do not have any hatching by day 23 I take one and candle it to see if everything is ok, or another way to do it is to water test it. But you have to make sure there are no pips in the egg. Just get a warm bowl of water and let the egg float in it. If the egg swirls in the water and moves around then there is a live chick inside. If the egg does not move then it has died. Wishing you lots of luck!

Well I candled then I did the water test. Candling it looked like they got to the air sac but saw no movement . Water test they kinda moved but I don't know how much the should have. I cracked an egg that I thought was dead and there was a chick not sure if it was dead or alive but it was really little and did not absorb the yolk sac. Are they dead?

Right there with you. My last four eggs still haven't done anything. Couldn't get any movement from them this morning. Going to do water test this afternoon and see if any movement.

By day 23 they should be filling up the entire shell with just a little more room. Whenever I candled mine at 19 days they were completely black inside with just a little bit left to go. I have had some before that started and made it probably about a week in or so and die. Whenever I opened those eggs I could tell that they had died because of the leftover yolk and I could see the chick within the yolk, and the smell was awful. I do not know much about hatching process, but this has been my own experience in the last 2 hatches I have done.
