LOL!!
I had to get the sleeping 1-week-old silkie off my lap first... tried to take a pic. No luck. Too dark.
So here's a pic of the chicken eggs before I put them in. Then mentally add the 6 peafowl eggs - which are larger than a chicken egg.

All in an LG!
I was supposed to borrow a cabinet incubator for the peafowl hatch... but somehow, that never materialized.
Oh well, it's good enough for me!

Tomorrow is day 8, I'll candle in the morning to see what is developing thus far

And, I can gaurentee pictures if they hatch... I'll be in love!

Hi!
I added another guinea egg and three turkey eggs into the 'bator tonight. I add them as they are layed, so I'm sure so have something hatch on the 25th! I also added a silver phoenix egg yesterday, hopefully I get a couple more from my pair

What kind of peafowl are you going to hatch?
Our peahen hasn't layed anything... yet

It looks like my incubator held around 99.5 all night with 40ish% humidity. Lookin' good over here.

Wow, yes opals are very pretty!
I think my favorite colors are the midnights and whites, niether of which I have

Right now we only have the Indian blues, but we raised a lot a couple years ago and we also had pied back then.

I set 1 egg in the incubator that is due the 26th. I have a batch coming by mail hopefully today. thoes will not be due until sometime in early july depending on when they get here.Maybe the 28th or the 29th. 1 egg for now. I am not sure it's even fertil. i hope so.

i want to candle now!!!
