Day 19 and I have 4 pips on brahma eggs.

Day 19 and nothing yet.

I lost my cracked egg last night. I feel at fault for that.

I will check on my broodies again later. I through some pop corn in the coop so they would get off the nest so I could see. I didn't touch any of them though, so I'm not 100% on the no pips thing.

My wife just called. She checked the eggs before she left for work and no pips yet. Day 19.

I'm starting late, but I have a hatch due May 2nd. I just took the eggs out of the turner and placed them in egg cartons for the hatch. I only increased the humidity to 55% until tomorrow.... Wow - I'd be excited about getting pips on day 19 too! Not to mention a chick. Maybe I should set my brooder up tonight - never know when I might be lucky like SundownWaterfowl. Congrats!

I hate to be so stupid, but could someone tell me: if I set my eggs at 11 a.m. on Friday April 10, are they currently day 19 or day 20? I'm sorry, I don't know why I can't figure this out correctly, but I'd really appreciate being told

One pipped in the wee hrs of the morning and has now almost completely zipped (I can see bits of fluff every time the 'lid' of the egg hinges open). Other three are just sitting there being eggs.

I am having a LOT of trouble with my temperature, GAH! Ranging from 96.5 F to 102.5 F. Can't seem to do anything about it, all I can do is wish the eggs good luck

(and rebuild incubator before next hatch, grrr)
