Anyone else hatching tomorrow??

Mine are due tomorrow too. They started to come out this morning. Got one that is just setting there, was moving around real good before I went into town. Something sticking out of schell with wet around it. beak was moving real good nothing now. 2 other one are jus starting to crack the shell. 11 out of 20 made it to lock down. May not get any. Drive me nuts or what? Good luck to you hope it works for you.

The 1st 3 are buff brahma bantams. We had one more hatch overnight that I think is a NH Red. And one more to go. Keeping my fingers crossed it will be today.

What a difference a day makes. Here is one of the fluffy chicks born yesterday.

Usually, i get a lot of early hatches. But until last night (the end of day 20), there were no pips - no sign of life. I was afraid i had somehow killed them all. But this morning at 4 am, i heard cheeping and got up to find my first hatch. Woohoo! I'm so relieved that they're alive!

I've had four more since then and lots of pipping and zipping! yay!

I ended up with 4. 2 I no are silkies and 2 are easter eggers. I had so much fun doing that one I started 5 yesterday and I no 4 for sure today so far. That should be it for summer, gets a little cool here in Minnesota
