here is our plan for a bantam pen potentially the left side is where our goats where which is roughly 180 square feet but im not sure i havent measured it thats just an estimate so teh actually coop area we have as of right now is probably somewhere around 160 square feet i will try measuring it laterNo real way of knowing how many it may hold. Pics look like an old building with several things going on inside.
How much area is the actual coop part or is it just one big coop full of random stuff?
Thing is, with a very large building, ventilation becomes less important. But it is also a number of birds influence. Even a large building, with too many birds, ventilation would be more important.Very little ventilation.
yes it doesWill a wheelbarrow fit down that aisle? I'm wondering how easy that building will be to clean.
it had windows on the top and i know it was meant for chickens because our property records its a thing we have shows everything the was build for the house how it was sold etcI don't think the building was originally meant for chickens. Very little ventilation. It probably had equipment in it. When you dress it out for chickens, cut some windows out. The windows should be above the chickens' heads when they are roosting.
there are already chickens in it and its perfect for them its just that we have a lot of space and there and its kind of empty besides the 14 chickens and one elderly hen we haveI don't think the building was originally meant for chickens. Very little ventilation. It probably had equipment in it. When you dress it out for chickens, cut some windows out. The windows should be above the chickens' heads when they are roosting.
