Not yet but I'll be building one again next spring.

This is the first pond we built. It is the feature I miss most about that house. It is what we will be replicating at our new house.

I have a pond and I have only seen a couple of fish, it is winter maybe that is why.

There metabolism slows in the winter, so they sort of go into hibernation.

I have a pond, though I sorta wish I didn't. From what I know it's not natural but it's naturalized over time. It takes up about an acre and is fed by ground water and the creek in back of the property.

It has fish though I don't know what type as I've never actually seen them. We have a resident blue heron as well as various ducks, a mama duck raised 7 babies last year. I've seen a beaver stop by as well.

Goldfish and koi are very hardy, they can survive in the winter as long as the pond doesn't freeze solid. My pond is nearly 5 feet deep, it's half above ground and half below ground, so sometimes the top freezes over in the winter, but it never freezes below the surface.

I have a Koi pond. We winter them in there too. They actually bred last year so now we have a few babies left that appear to be growing lol.
