Anyone else here have a fish pond?

The yard is kind of messy, but I took some pictures of my pond anyway:

The pond is half above ground, and half below ground. It doesn't have a skimmer, but it does have a bottom drain, and the liner is Firestone 45mil EPDM. I have goldfish and Koi in the pond, a lot of my Koi actually came from a Koiphen member, who sent me some pond plants that had fish eggs on them, and the eggs hatched.
Here is the filter, it isn't super elegant, but it works:

The stuff around the top is to keep water from splashing out.
I'm also kind of working on building a pond monitoring system, but I haven't gotten much done recently, since I'm lazy:

That pond was 6 houses ago.

I hope I'll get around to building the monitoring system for my pond at some point. I also have to screw down the wood around the edge again, because I think the wood shrunk, so it became loose.

The pond, or the pond monitoring system? I built the pond myself, but it took forever, I guess I have a short attention span. I haven't even ordered the parts I need for the pond monitoring system.
