Anyone else just now starting to "line dry" their clothes outside?

I love to line dry my things, but we can't leave things out hanging while we are gone as the dogs will pull it down, so I don't use it as often as I would like in the winter months. During the summer, I can dry a load in 15-20mins, I'd like to see a dryer do that!

ETA: I am lucky to be able to have a rotary dryer in my yard. In quite a few cities around here, there are codes to prevent people from hanging out their wash

I can't stand the pollen on the clothing

But it smells so GOOD!

I used to love hanging out sheets, then folding them and putting them in the closet. When it was time to rotate to that set of sheets in the next month, the smell was still there

I envy all of you that can do that (not like the wind in Wyoming is cooperative anyway)

I really like hanging clothes out around here. Our clothesline is by the big line of lilac bushes so what I hang out always smells of fresh air and lilacs.

I usually hang laundry out all year 'round, but this year I couldn't. The clothing would have been laying on the snow

.People got it so easy now they don't even know.Im looking forward to some nice sunny breezy days and hang some stuff out to dry here.

PLUSES FOR LINE DRYING
1.) In the summer, my jeans dry faster on the line than in the dryer.
2.) The UV rays from the sun kill bacteria trapped in the fibers.
3.) I find it easier to fold clothes as I take them off of the line, verses taking them from the dryer to the couch to sort and fold.
4.) I like to set and relax on the cool down-wind side of the line. It is like setting by a Swamp-Cooler without the noise.
5.) Clothes do not wear out as quick (lint).
6.) It is frugal!
7.) It is better for the environment, both locally and globally.

PLUSES FOR THE CLOTHES DRYER
1.) Don't have to carry a heavy basket of wet clothes outside.
2.) Clothes get dry even when it is raining.
3.) Towels and socks are fluffier
4.) No bird poo, pollen, or tree sap on your clothes
5.) Dogs can't drag them off
6.) I vent my dryer into the house in the winter. The house-plants love the humidity and I hate to see the heat get plummed out.
7.) Bright colors don't fade as quickly (No UV).

Any additions?

There are some things that I love line dried, however, my husband HATES it. He wants to pull out the t posts, but I won't let him. They don't have the lines but I have the posts.....
