Unfortunately, PETA is so large and at this point untouchable that It would be a notice miracle of they were stopped through rational means

That's actually almost funny.
Very young children can look after chickens. It's not rocket science.
They're pretty simple.

At the age someone wouldn't be able to look after them on his own, his parents would be there.

I think White house on the hill has just been misinformed. It is pretty easy to misunderstand animal behaviors and needs, but at this point they should be listening to the criticism from people who watch the channel and try to change how they do things for the safety and well being of their animals. That is the only real thing they are doing wrong. Making a mistake is always forgivable the first time it happens, but more than once after being told what is being done wrong is not. It is easy to see that they do care very much for the emus, but they just don't really know what they are doing wrong and what they should be doing.

She didn't have a point. My friend who helped watch the birds laughed his head off though because he had overheard it.

I'll admit people do think I'm way younger than I look, but I've never been considered younger than a freshman and they're old enough to know what they're doing

Thank you so much for not being a freaking MEANY to Jake and Becky. All kids and people chase chickens to catch them. They are newish to the Emu world and are trying their best.

I stand by my statement from earlier. They should have planned ahead better and made sure they knew at least enough to give their animals comfortable lives. They had plenty of time to learn and make sure they understood what they couldn't do.

I don't chase chickens to catch them.
I don't need to. Because they know they aren't in any danger of being chased. So they trust me.
And I don't let kids near my birds for that reason.

With the emu thing. Research goes a long way.
