Anyone else put eggs in incubator 9-30

ETA: Okay, who here has put eggs in on 9/30 and doesn't have chicks yet??

I'm trying not to worry, they're not scheduled to hatch until 10/21 anyway.. but I'm feeling like my chicks are slackers! Get on with it, chickies!!

Well we had 1 hatch early on the 18th...3 more on the 19th...I had to assist in all of them.....they are all doing great....did eggtopsy on the ones that didn't hatch...2 quit early like day 12 to 14 maybe, 3 were late quitters maybe day 16 or 17 not internally pipped...one of them was breach turned toward the small end of the egg...I have more supposed to hatch on the 28th....I hope this goes better.....I am thinking that my thermometer and hydrometer are off.....I am going to get a new one from the Incubator Warehouse Website with a probe but at least I have 4 mottled old english game bantams....and they are so cute....Good luck to everyone else....hope everything is going good....

I have two pips! I just walked into the office to yell at them (COME ON, CHICKIES, I BUILT YOU A SWEET COOP, FULFILL YOUR BARGAIN YOU SELFISH LITTLE OMELETS!!... actually, I used more colorful language, but you get the idea) and I looked closer and saw that two eggs had pips! YES!

How's everyone doing with their hatches?

I've got one out of the shell!

It looked like this little one wasn't doing a darned thing for the last 12 hours, then suddenly I hear REALLY loud peeping and there he is! Already halfway fluffed out and playing soccer with the other eggs. Already such a naughty chickie!

Okay I have 21 new babies so far. They are so cute. I was taking them out of the bator and my little Silkie mom was just watching me. So now she has all the babies. She is such a good mom. As she was covering her little ones in her cage beside the bator she would watch me every time I would check the eggs.
