Anyone else put eggs in incubator 9-30

Just checking in, I haven't had internet the past week so I didn't get to check out how everyone made out.

Hope all is going well with your new babes.

In the end I had 19 babies. When I did candle at lockdown I was happy with 17 eggs, the other 16 looked odd to me, like there was air sacs at both ends and unlike other hatches I had had before, but because I couldn't be sure and because some were VERY dark, I put them all in to make sure I wasn't wrong and because I just flat out DO NOT completely trust my candling.

All 17 on the good side hatched, + 2 of the dark Maran eggs in the ??? pile. I did eggtopsies on the other 14, 4 had died earlier, maybe Day 10 or 11, they were still quite small, the others were fully formed, head down, no pip, yolk not absorbed and dead? Would this be my humidity prior to lockdown that killed them?

Another question... I had 15 shipped eggs of one breed, off the hop, 8 were not fertilized, 4 were the early deaths, and 2 hatched and 1 was one of the ones that was fully formed but didn't hatch or pip.

I had a similiar experience to this in the hatch prior, it was 12 neighbour eggs, 1 was unfertilized, 8 were early deaths, 2 hatched and one was fully formed but didn't hatch or pip.

In both of these hatches, all the other breeds were about a 60% or more hatch rate whether shipped or local. Would you attribute such a lousy hatch out of these two breeds to the parent health?

Thank you for your feedback!
